Its been 13 days since my last post! At first I was busy for a few days because of getting ready and having a yard sale! Then T.O.M came! It was the so bad! Also I have been feeling so weak ,no-get-up-and-go. I have been eating right and working out for 8 weeks now and I should be feeling better not worst! Plus my weight loss has stopped. I got thinking and remembered what all I was doing last time I lost 80 pounds and I believe I have left out a very important thing! I have PCOS and woman with PCOS have a very hard time losing weight. Most have an easier time losing weight with the combination of a Low-Carb diet “and”, the part I have not been doing, taking Metformin (or a drug like it). I was on Metformin for my diabetes , then I lost weight, and really did not need it for my diabetes any more but my doctor kept me on it for my PCOS. And I had no problem losing those 80 pounds! I have been off of Metformin for around 2 years (we had a baby) also during this time I gained half my weight back. Anyways I got talking to family and I know that I will feel better (get my get-up-and-go back) and my weight will start falling off again to include the Metformin with my Low-carb lifestyle! I went to the Doctor today and got back on my meds!! I am really glad! I should start feeling better soon and the weight will start coming off again….

Wow what a morning.. The Houston TX heat pounding down with all the humidity!! Today I had a protein drink with coconut oil and walked to my sister’s house, 2.7 miles of heat pounding down on me!! LOL Once we got there, Anika and I had boiled eggs for breakfast and some left over meat!! Then we were off to the pool with my sister and all the kids!! After about 45 mins of pool time it started thundering!! so swimming was cut short today but it was fun!! Bacon and cream cheese for lunch!! lol
Dinner: leftover eggs and bacon!! yummy!

Started my day at 6am.. had a cup of coffee and cooked up some eggs and woke the baby at 7am.. At 7:30 we were off on our walk! It was so so hot!! I have to give thanks to GOD, He is the only reason I have been able get out and do these walks and to stay on track with my low-carb lifestyle! He is so great and his grace is amazing!! Thank you GOD!
Ok,, as I was approaching the drive way guess who came running out with camera in hand to take pictures of my sweaty hillbilly butt? MY HUSBAND, brat!!! LOL Got to love him. It was so humid that the camera lens fogged upped!! Texas weather for ya..
After everyone got ready we went window shopping!! (more walking). For lunch I had a Hamburger (no bun) with cheese and lettuce! We went back home and it was nap time!! I love nap time! then once we were up again we went to the Mall! 3 hours of walking around the mall!! loads of walking today!! woohoo.. For dinner we had steak again!! Never gets old!! Love steak!!

Wow,,, First day of summer vacation!! Today started off great!! I had eggs cooked in coconut oil and I had a protein drink before my walk! I powered walked 2.5miles!! After morning walk it was baby time and I did some house work. I had lunch around 11:45 pork chop! then it was time to get baby down for nap.. we are starting some changes with her: no bottle and no rocking to sleep. I read her stories then lay her in her bed and sat in the chair across the room until she passes out. This is the second day, took about an hour to get her down for her nap today. My goal is by the end of the week to be able to lay her down and just leave the room! wish me luck.
I have been drinking water water water today!! I 0 Carbed today!! woohoo
I am doing a Strength and Scuipt workout after I get baby to bed. Then I will be ready to pass out!! lol

I woke up this morning feeling good!! I got 8 hours of sleep, which is rare during the work week! (Only one day of work left) I weighed myself first thing this morning to get my starting weight and was ready to go!
I started low-carbing 6 weeks ago and I have lost 15 pounds so far! During the last 6 weeks I only got in one or two workouts a week and I did not always get good sleep! I also ate a lot of cheese, which I will have to cut down on now!
Today I stayed on track with my eating, I had some coconut oil in my coffee, yummy, Lots of water, no sugar and 0 carbs today,, meat only! I don’t eat like this every day ,, I love salads and green which I will also eat on the days I am not worn out and feel like making them! LOL.. ( And I will limit my cheese for now on!)
For my workout today: carried around loads and loads of laundry with a 25 pound toddler in my arms, , Cleaned the inside of my school bus (45mins of arm killing workout!) and I will do one of my biggest losers workouts tonight! Once I am out for the summer my workouts will pick up, get much harder!

I am so looking forward to this summer!! My summer off from work does not start until the 3rd so my workouts want start until then. But I am going shopping on the 31 to make sure I have all the foods to start my summer!! One of my goals is to blog at lest 3 times a week about whats going on with me and my 50 pound summer, maybe more if I have time. I also have to get a calendar sometime today and get all my and my daughters activities lined up and in order! Going to be a busy summer!! For those who would like to join me.. Please comment on the Post that will go out on June 1st and include all your goals for the summer!! I am going to see if I can find something for all of us that meet our goals this summer.. Hello, this is me! It is really a very forgiving pic. At this point I have already lost 13 pounds since I started lowcarbing 5 weeks ago. So, Here we are, summertime. I have the summer off but I am very busy taking care of a 1 year old and a husband (which is a like having 2 jobs, lol)!! Since I am off for the summer from my 3rd J-O-B, lol, I am going to find time to make this my “50 Pound Summer”. What do I mean by that? Well over the next 3 months (starting June 1st) with lots of blood, sweat, tears and “Very Little CARBS” I am planning on making this summer , the summer I lose 50 pounds! I will have my first weigh in June 1st and the other ones will be July 1st, Aug 1st and last weigh in will be Sept 1st! I will be blogging about everything to do with my 50 pound summer and also a few other topics. Hopefully I will entertain, make you laugh and share some great information. I am hoping there will be others out there that will join me this summer so we can support each other!
